Every once in a long while a young singer joins the ranks of America's most adoring spotlight, the world of Popular music, with the ability to take the World by storm with undeniable talent, charisma and star quality. Jordan Pruitt is one of these rare talents.
Born and raised in Loganville, Georgia, Jordan's natural instincts, vocal prowess, unique sound and tremendous beauty have already gained this fifteen year-old rising superstar a list of impressive accomplishments.
Jordan began singing publicly at the age of four. Her performances have been before audiences ranging from a few thousand to the tens of thousands. Jordan has drawn crowds at such popular venues as Centennial Olympic Park, Stone Mountain, Six Flags over Georgia and The Fox Theatre. Most recently, Jordan performed with Aly and AJ in Los Angeles at the Disney co-sponsored 2006 Youth Marketing Conference.
It was inevitable that one day Jordan would be discovered by a music industry executive. That day came when Grammy Award Winning producer Keith Thomas heard the demo that Jordan had recorded in Atlanta, Georgia. Literally, in a matter of a few moments after hearing Jordan's demo, Keith placed a call to her and requested an audition in his studio in Franklin, Tennessee. The result of their meeting, and Jordan's wonderful performances in the studio and later in Keith's family room, led to her immediate signing to Levosia Entertainment, LLC.
It is no surprise that Jordan has now joined the elite group of talent on Hollywood Records and has signed a major recording contract, making her Disney's newest and most promising artist.
It is with great joy and celebration that the Disney Channel and Hollywood records will introduce Jordan Pruitt to the world by airing her debut single and her first music video OUTSIDE LOOKING IN (co-written with Keith Thomas and Robin Scoffield). This smash single will also be featured in the Disney Channel's made-for-television film "Read It And Weep" scheduled to air mid July.
In what seems to be constantly mounting good news when it comes to Jordan Pruitt, she will also be showcased in her performance of "We Are Family" (an original cover arranged by Keith Thomas of the Classic Sister Sledge hit) in the soon to be released Disney direct-to-DVD movie "Air Puppies."
Look for Jordan's debut album this Fall and be prepared to fall in love.
